Once we have both of these documents completed, we’ll get to work! Here’s how to process will go:

KICK-OFF MEETING

Just like anything worth having, good design starts with open communication. Building a business relationship can even feel like dating: our designers get to know you, maybe buy you a drink, and listen to your story to get a better understanding of where your pharmacy has been and where it’s going.  

The kickoff meeting is our chance to get to know you. We’ll ask about your history, your values, design preferences, and your company’s goals for the future. We want to understand your dreams and the voice and personality of your brand as a first step in creating a website that reflects the unique story behind your business. This meeting typically lasts between 30 minutes – 1 hour.

DESIGNING A MOCKUP

Rock City Digital designs original, custom-to-you websites based on our conversations in the kickoff period. During the design mockup meeting, we’ll deliver an interactive preview of our website design so you can get a feel for the style and direction. The conversation is a good opportunity for the web designer and you to check in and make any changes or revisions. Once a mockup is officially approved, the project heads to the demo phase. This phase of the process takes approximately 1 week.

SITE DEMO

The site demo isn’t a publicly published website (so none of your customers will find it by accident) but contains all the pages and features so you can click around and explore. This stage before launch gives us time for review and revision. Rock City Digital’s goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with the finished product — and excited to show it off! This phase, building out the site demo, takes approximately 4 weeks.

WE LAUNCH!

After the demo is approved, we launch the new website! We do this in a way where there is no (or minimal) downtime. It’s like flipping a switch and all of a sudden, there’s a new website to show off to all your friends and customers. From start to finish, depending on how quickly we get revisions back from you, this process takes a total of 8 weeks!

WILL I RECEIVE A MOCK-UP BEFORE THE WEBSITE IS LIVE?

Absolutely! You’ll be involved in every step of the process. We will send you a demo version of the website prior to launching.

WHAT DO I DO IF I DON’T HAVE A DOMAIN NAME?

You’ll need to purchase a domain name. We recommend using GoDaddy.com to set one up. Most domains are less than $20/year.

IS THERE A CONTRACT FOR THIS WEBSITE?

We do have a 24-month agreement with our website services. You have the option to pay the entire fee up front, but otherwise your fee will be broken up into 24 payments. We decided to price our websites this way to make it more attainable for business owners to buy a website that works for them.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY WEBSITE TO LAUNCH?

Website builds depend largely on client communication. Our normal turnaround time is 6-8 weeks if we are able to receive the information needed in a timely manner.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THIS?

Click here to fill out the digital agreement and payment information! This billing will be recurring each month via bank draft or credit card.

WILL THERE BE A MEETING BEFORE YOU START ON MY WEBSITE?

Yes! This is called a “kickoff meeting”. You’ll meet your Web Designer and Account Manager at this time so we can get to work!

WHAT IF I NEED A SCHEDULING OPTION FOR VACCINES OR TESTS?

We have a recommendation! Acuity Scheduling allows you to sync your calendar, reduce no-shows, and offer appointments to your customers. And it’s HIPAA compliant! You can sign up here. The cost for the package that your pharmacy needs is $40/month.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE TO GET STARTED?

All we need is the digital agreement signed and the initial intake form completed. From there, you’ll immediately be contacted by our team to schedule your kickoff meeting. That’s it!

WHAT IF I NEED TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEBSITE?

We’ve got you covered! All content edits to your website are 100% free and completed within 24 business hours for the first two years. After the two years are up, you are automatically enrolled into a hosting plan with us which includes hosting, edits within 24 business hours, security measures, and support.
